Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the quality of services which is provided by Quality Assurance Unit. Information Technology Division, P.T. "ABC': understanding the causes, and hypothesize the improvement steps, testing, and making the guidance to manager in term of making decisions the information which given by the management tools to improve services quality. After understanding attributes that become indicator to value the services activities, it need to formulate things that become root causes of the resistance for deliver the excellent services. Refection of the poor service quality in Quality Assurance unit is the long queue of projects (bottle-neck phenomenon). Using brainstorming technique and fishbone diagram, obtained that unbalance load of work cause long queue projects, the worst is on September 2002 that 93 projects in the western (47 projects with "testing" status and 46projects with status "questing'. Ajier the cause is identified then the solution hypothesis could be performed Hypothesis outcomes that fixing the unbalance load are obviously have effect on Quality Assurance unit's projects handling service performance, so it is recommended to management of Information Technology division to standardize the procedure for and ling queuing of projects. Ajmer fixed up, on December 2002 unfinished projects is 40 (16 projects with "testing" status, and 24 projects with "queuing" status).
