Abstract

A company’s excellent performance can be reflected by maximum contributions that are resulted in the employees’ every activity. The excellent performance that is expected by a company one of which is on a company that operates in the field of telecommunication product distribution such as prepaid cards, pulse and hanset. Competition in the telecommunication industry forces the company to keep enhancing the quality of the performance in order to compete and be excellent in business competition that has got tougher. In order to ensure that the telecommunication products can be enjoyed by people, telecommunication operators entrust the distribution to cellular telecommunication distributors. PT Sakalaguna is one of the cellular telecommunication distributors that focus on distributing products from the Indosat operator in Indonesia. The competition among distributors of Indosat operators currently places PT Sakalaguna Semesta’s performance revenue and reload until the end of May 2016 in the top five from more than thirty Indosat distributors in Indonesia right now. The company’s intention to enhance the performance revenue sales and reload growth where in 2017 it is expected that the company’s performance can take over the third position in terms of performance reload among all the national Indosat distributors. The result of the research that uses Soft System Methodology shows that the employees’ competence level, the leadership quality of the branch heads that is reliable as well as implementing all the visions, missions and goals of the company precisely that is socialized to all the employees, can help enhancing the excellent performance of Sakalaguna. Through a research that uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, a strategy or alternative for the Sakalaguna Company is resulted to be implemented immediately which is doing investment in human capital, which means that the company places the Sakalaguna employees as the company’s highly valuable asset which needs to be maintained and enhanced. Investment in human capital can be done from the initial process of selection, recruitment, planning and development of employees until the retention process of employees in enhancing the competence and welfare of the employees in the company. The President Director of PT Sakalaguna is the main actor in achieving the company’s excellent performance. One of the goals of enhancing the company’s excellent performance is developing the human capital division. The role and function of the human capital division as the company’s business partner is very urgent in helping the organization enhance the company’s performance. The human capital management division can have direct responsibility to the President Director of PT Sakalaguna in order to help the organization achieve the visions, missions and goals of the Sakalaguna company through investment in human capital.
