Abstract

The evolve of pharmaceutical industry today is so rapid, the evolution of science spark innovation in the field of pharmaceutical technology is growing, coupled with public awareness we are very concerned with health. With the rapid growth of the pharmaceutical industry, it is also need a good distribution so that the people of Indonesia can obtain the drugs they need wherever they are. Indonesia has about 17,504 islands, it makes Indonesia as the largest archipelago in the world. Indonesia with the geographical conditions like this, the pharmaceutical distribution companies must carefully take into account the transportation costs to be incurred and the like manacaranya that the quality of medicines distributed remains in good condition and ready to be consumed by the public. Companies that run their business in the field of pharmaceutical distribution industry so much, the competitive situation is certainly realized by PT XYZ. Thus the role of leadership is needed to improve performance. Besides motivation and training is also a very important factor in improving the performance of employees. The purpose of this study was to look at the role leadeship, motivation and training on employees performance XYZ, and to look if the leadership and training affect the motivation of employees. This study uses a quantitative research design. The data collected in this study is divided into two types, i.e. primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained by questionnaires, interviews and observations, while secondary data obtained from journals, theses, dissertations and reference books. The study involved 142 head office employees of XYZ as respondents. The analytical method used in this research is SEM (Structural Equatuion Modelling) were processed using software LISREL (Linear Structural Relationship). The results of this study indicate that the dimensions of leadership, motivation and training has a positive effect on employee performance, as well as the dimensions of leadership and training have a positive influence on employee motivation.
