Abstract

During the years approaching the economic crisis, the performance of the sport shoes industry was already felt to start declining caused of several, factors. The emergence of the monetary crisis since the middle of the year 1997, had further worsened the situation of this industry. And so is PT. Nagasakti Pharumashoes Industry, as one of the biggest sport shoes factory in Indonesia, that produce the Nike sport shoes. Bur, in line with the start of intprovements of the national economic from the pounding crises, it has already pushed orders for branded sport shoes to go up again. This situation had given an opportunities, but also demand the company to produce on highest level of eflciency. According the very tight competition on this segment. That makes the company need a good quality management. The research is (1) to identify how far is the nonconformance in PT. Nasa's production line, (2) to identify the factors that caused the nonconformance in the production line and (3) to give the alternative solutions and the relevant srtrategies for the company.
