Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors which caused the credit problem in CV "X", the business performing of CV "X' in the past and its future prospect and give recommendation about alternative credit recovery of CV " X in Bank "A". The method of this study is case study with descriptive recitation. The collected data were included financial report of CV "X" from 1998 to 2000, credit information from Bank Indonesia, cash flow projection of CV "X" in 1999, business planning of CV "X' and the development of the nata de coco industry. Analysis of credit quality covered financial condition, industrial environment, company position, management quality, collateral quality and Net Present Value which is using for analyze the data. The result of research showed that cause factor of the credit problem in CV "X' were credit factor, financial aspect, production aspect and marketing. The business performing of CV "X" decreased in the past especially in the financial sector but for the future its still have good prospect. The result suggested to make alternative credit recovery by rescheduling the term period of credit for CV "X" in Bank "A".
