Abstract

Formulating Strategy for CV Enggal Pratama to Face Enviroment Changing Okto Prambudyo The purpose of this study was to identify intemal and extemal factors influences company competitiveness in facing environmental changing. Therefor the new strategy can be developed by the company. This research is in strategic management area, especially to analyze formulation strategy for CV Enggal Pratama. This research was using three step methods. First step was data input using PEST approach, industrial analysis using Five Force's Porler model, function analysis showed in IFE and EFE matrix. Second step was matching by using intemal and external (IEJ matrix and SWOT matrix. Third step was making dicision using QSPM. The result of intemal analysis was 2.807 whereas extemal analysis was 2.502. This result is put CV Enggal Pratama in Fifth Quadrant (Hold and Maintain area) in the frame of lntemal-Extemal Matrix with appropriate strategies are market penetration and product development. The result of SWOT matrix obtained several alternatives; they are market penetration, pmduct development, cost benem, machine replacement and increase employee skill. From the five selected alternative strategies by using QSPM, the product development strategy has been chosen as the top priority to be implemented as appropriate strategy having 2.442 score. The results suggest the management to implement product development strategy without neglecting other strategy. As consequences, allocation some resource, i.e. funding, technology, human resource should be in line with company business.
