Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze buyer's attitude toward eight brands of broiler feed, namely, Charoen Pokphand, Gold Coin, Supetfeed, Comfeed, Cargil, Wonokoyo, Anwar Sierad, and Malindo. The attribute of the feed were evaluated by consumers consist of color, flavor, size of crumble, mortality, growth rate (daily gain), storage ability, palatability, delivery order, credit facility, availability, and price. The study was conducted in broiler production centers Cianjur district West java. The numbers of respondent consist of 25 broiler farmers in Cianjur district. Data collection used survey method, supported by questionnaire. The result of the study showed that Super feed is the best feed among eight brands of feeds and the most important attribute were growth rate, price, and mortality.
